Our story
Taxi Castro was born in Palas de Rei, a welcoming village in the heart of the Camino de Santiago. What started as a local taxi service has become a reference point for the thousands of travellers who walk Galicia every year.
Our founder, Castro, has been behind the wheel for years. He knows every road, every shortcut and every corner of Galicia. But what really sets us apart isn't the mileage — it's the relationship. Every passenger is unique, and every trip is a chance to deliver more than just a transfer.
Today we offer much more than a taxi: we're a full transport service for travellers, pilgrims, businesses and families. Airport transfers, Camino stages, sightseeing tours, corporate transport and long-distance trips to anywhere on the Iberian Peninsula.
We partner with OurWay.Travel, an agency specialised in Galicia experiences: accommodation, gastronomy and logistics so your trip is perfect from start to finish.

4 seats per vehicle. For larger groups we coordinate multiple cars at the same per-trip fixed price.
Our service area
Based in Palas de Rei (Lugo). We serve all of Galicia and run long-distance transfers to anywhere in Spain and Portugal.
