How much is a taxi from Samos to Sarria?
Samos–Sarria is 12 km (~15 minutes). Fixed price confirmed when you book, no taximeter. It is our most common trip: pilgrims who visit the Monastery and want to rejoin the Camino in Sarria.
Do you do transfers to Samos Monastery for a visit?
Yes, we take many visitors to the Monastery of San Xulián de Samos, one of the oldest in Spain (6th century). We can wait for you during the guided tour (~45 min) and drive you back or onwards. Arrange it when you book.
Can I skip the Triacastela–Samos–Sarria stage by taxi?
Yes. The Samos variant is 6.5 km longer than the San Xil route. Many pilgrims walk Triacastela–Samos (10 km), visit the monastery and continue to Sarria by taxi (12 km) to save their legs, or the other way round.
Do you pick up injured pilgrims in Samos?
Yes, we pick up pilgrims with injuries, blisters or muscle strain in Samos and take them to Sarria, to the health centre or wherever they need to go. The descent from O Cebreiro takes its toll — don't push through an injury, call us.
How long does the taxi from Samos to Santiago Airport take?
The Samos–Santiago Airport (SCQ) trip is about 122 km, roughly 85 minutes via the A-54. We monitor your flight: if it is delayed, we adjust the pick-up time at no extra cost.
Do you transport backpacks between Samos and the next stage?
Yes, we transport backpacks and luggage between stages so you can walk light. Also bicycles (+€30) and pets (+€15). We drop it off at your next accommodation, coordinating with the hostel or hotel.
